It always makes me happy to get to work with great people.  The David Jones family was no exception.  With so much going on in my family lately, it took entirely too long for me to get this job done.  David showed such grace and understanding.  He does know a thing or two about busy family life, after all.  Thanks to Eryn and David for such patience!  

Race to Remember

 

I recently did this painting (acrylic on canvas) for a great cause, The Race to Remember art auction. The race is held in honor of all the families who have experienced the unimaginable pain of losing a baby, whether it be still born or in it's early days of life.  I was glad to be able to be a part.

An Anniversary Gift

My parents just recently celebrated 44 years of marriage!!!!!!!!  Did you get that?!  44 years!   It is worth celebrating, folks.  I love these two people to the moon and back.

Roughing It

I did not marry a mountain man, and for that I am VERY grateful.  If I had, our camping trip would look not unlike this.  I am reminded of a line from the old Parent Trap movie, "Get me out of this stinking fresh air!"  You might find me nearing that territory.  I need air conditioning.
